In our stressful world today, we can often feel isolated and lonely. If we’re dealing with a major trauma, we can feel especially alone, as if we are the only person in this world suffering from this issue. Groups provide an amazing opportunity for healing and support. When we feel seen, heard, understood, and valued by others, we can flourish. Groups provide this magical gift.
I have had extensive training in group psychotherapy from the Northeastern Society of Group Psychotherapy. Throughout my 38 years of practice, I have facilitated all kinds of groups: parent groups, chronic pain groups, HIV/AIDS groups, and women’s groups.
Currently, I am running two groups for partners of sex addicts. These are psycho-educational and supportive types of groups.
