Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a journey of exploration and understanding yourself. Individual therapy can be effective with most problems, such as relationship issues, work-related problems, trauma, financial stress, health challenges, etc. My approach incorporates a multitude of psychological theories, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, strength-based, and narrative therapy.
I have also had extensive training in health psychology and mind-body therapies, including hypnosis, biofeedback, and exposure therapy.
When dealing with any kind of trauma, there are research-based approaches that prove to be very effective in the healing process. Based on an individual’s particular needs, I can incorporate the following skills: Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
